Marking International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month 2022

International Women’s Day is an important yearly event that celebrates equality, collaboration, diversity and respect in equal measure.

In a modern world, it is important that women have equal access to career opportunities, bringing important perspectives and a diverse richness of thought to institutions large and small.

Despite the rhetoric that you often hear, equality between genders has not yet been reached. The Global Gender Gap Report in 2021 says that it will take nearly 140 years to achieve parity between men and women across the world.

We need to be vocal about closing this gap, and take pragmatic action to do so in a faster manner. We know that collective voices can bring about change in this regard, and at Kerry Consulting we are committed to actively participate in these conversations.

    What Are We Doing?

For IWD 2022, we are thrilled to be spotlighting talented female leadership among our networks across the region. We have been privileged to conduct illuminating Q&A sessions, garnering diverse and industry-specific viewpoints from accomplished women. We will be publishing them across our website and LinkedIn page to an audience of over 100,000 business professionals.

Highlighting these voices is incredibly important to us. It has an often unseen yet important compound effect. We hope that these Q&As will inspire everyone, regardless of gender and age, letting them know that they can #BreaktheBias, and that senior leadership roles are never out of reach.

You can read our full IWD Q&A series as they are published below:

Will you help break the bias? For 2022 cross your arms to show solidarity. Post a picture online with #BreakTheBias and #IWD2022. Encourage others to help build a more diverse and inclusive world.
