Our client is an international organisation operating within the commodities and energy markets. As part of its continued investment in digital capabilities, the company is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Singapore-based team and contribute to the development of business-critical applications used across multiple regions.

Peran

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial and operational stakeholders to design, develop and enhance technology solutions that support trading, analytics and business decision-making. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to implementation, deployment and ongoing improvement. Working across both frontend and backend technologies, you will build scalable applications, integrate data sources, support analytics platforms and collaborate with users to deliver practical solutions that address evolving business needs.

Persyaratan

Candidates should possess a relevant degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in full-stack software development. Strong expertise in React and TypeScript is required, together with backend development experience using either Python or C#, while exposure to both technologies would be advantageous. Applicants should have experience working with APIs, ORM frameworks and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, as well as familiarity with modern development practices including version control, code reviews and issue tracking. Experience developing dashboards or data visualisation tools will be beneficial. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with traders and other business users to understand requirements, gather feedback and deliver effective technology solutions. Prior exposure to commodities, energy, financial markets or other commercially driven industries would be advantageous.
