Business Development Director, AI Infrastructure

A newly established, private-equity-backed AI infrastructure venture is building a GPU-as-a-Service platform headquartered in Singapore. The business is backed by a credible digital infrastructure investor with a long-term commitment to data centres, connectivity, cloud, and AI compute across Asia. The platform will serve large technology customers operating in Southeast Asia.

Tanggung Jawab

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the founding technology leadership team, the Business Development Director will lead commercial origination and strategic customer development for the new GPUaaS platform. The initial focus will be on Chinese OTT, internet, cloud, and large technology customers expanding across Southeast Asia. The role will be responsible for building senior relationships, shaping customer requirements, structuring large-scale GPUaaS opportunities, and driving negotiations through to close.

Persyaratan

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AI infrastructure, GPUaaS, cloud, data centres, or telecom infrastructure, with deep relationships across the Chinese technology ecosystem. Candidates from major Chinese vendors, carriers, cloud, or digital infrastructure platforms are highly relevant. To succeed in this role, you will be described as someone who is independent, resourceful and able to think out of the box. You are also an excellent communicator who possesses a hunter mindset.
