Data Scientist (LLM & Agentic AI), Financial Services

We are seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in LLMs and agentic AI systems to drive the development of next-generation AI solutions at this leading financial services organisation. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that enhance decision-making, automate complex workflows, and unlock new value across the business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into scalable AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
As the Data Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include developing and deploying machine learning models with a focus on LLMs and agent-based architectures. You will design and implement end-to-end AI pipelines, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, and deployment. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and deliver production-ready solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in LLMs and agentic AI frameworks. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. Experience working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and multi-agent systems will be highly advantageous.
A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles is required, along with experience deploying models in cloud environments. Familiarity with financial services data and regulatory considerations is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are key. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
