Platform Engineering Lead (Security), Financial Services

Our client is a financial services organisation investing heavily in next-generation cybersecurity capabilities. They are hiring a hands-on Platform Engineering Lead (Security) to design and build scalable security products, platforms and services that strengthen cyber resilience across the organisation.

Peran

This role is ideal for a strong software or platform engineer who wants to solve complex cybersecurity problems through well-built products and services. You will work across domains such as Cloud Security, AI Security, Offensive Security, Security Operations and security automation, building tools and platforms that improve detection, prevention, response and overall security effectiveness. The role requires close collaboration with cyber, engineering, product and technology teams to turn security challenges into practical, scalable and reliable solutions.

Persyaratan

• Strong engineering background, with experience building scalable products, platforms, services or automation tools.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity domains such as Cloud Security, AI Security, Offensive Security, Security Operations, detection engineering or security automation.
• Hands-on experience with modern engineering practices, APIs, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native architecture and secure software development.
• Ability to work with security and technology stakeholders to translate cyber requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Experience with AWS or cloud security is advantageous, but broader engineering depth and product-building capability are most important.
