Senior IT Business Partner
Overview
A leading global engineering and technology organization is seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to support its operations in Singapore. This role sits within a complex, multi-entity environment, partnering senior stakeholders to align IT strategy with business priorities and drive impactful technology outcomes.
Responsibilities
You will partner closely with senior business leaders to shape and execute IT strategy, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise direction while addressing the specific needs of the business unit. The role oversees budgeting, vendor management, and the effective deployment of IT resources, including a team spanning business partners, project managers, and end-user support. You will be accountable for service delivery performance, ensuring SLAs are consistently met while maintaining strong engagement with stakeholders to anticipate evolving requirements. In parallel, you will lead a portfolio of IT programs and projects, providing oversight, governance, and hands-on leadership for critical initiatives where required. The role also carries responsibility for embedding IT governance, risk, and security standards across regional operations, working in coordination with central functions to ensure compliance and best practices are upheld.
Requirements
You bring a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with certification in project management. You have at least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including a track record in senior leadership roles managing teams and delivering enterprise-scale initiatives. Strong familiarity with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, application development, and ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle) is expected. You have successfully delivered complex projects with significant budgets and are comfortable operating in a similar business partnering model. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across senior leadership and operational teams, and to influence decision-making in a matrixed environment.
